Window Tinting

What are you legally allowed to tint on my car?
Windscreen -No (Although we can fit a sun screen at the top)
Drivers and Passengers front windows - No
Rear windows -Yes
Rear screen -Yes

I've seen some cars that are tinted and there is a silver outline around the edge of the screen and it looks really bad. Will this happen to my car?
This is caused by a dot matrix line that surrounds most rear screens and some side windows. Sometimes water is trapped between the window film and the dot matrix causing this silver line. However, we have a technique to remove it so we spend an extra 60-90 minutes on every install to ensure we remove the outline giving you the factory finish look.

I already have my windows tinted but I want it removed. Can you help?
Yes, for a small fee we can remove the window film and clean up your windows back to pristine condition.

Does the film affect my rear screen heater elements?
No. Your rear screen heater will still work. The film does not affect the elements and it is unaffected when you turn the heater on

What should I keep my windows clean with?
Normal window cleaner is fine providing it doesn't contain any ammonia.

Does the window film affect my mobile phone or satellite navigation reception?
No. The film will not affect the quality of your reception in these devices.

Does your security film stop my glass from breaking?
The security film we use is designed to make the glass shatter resistant against bricks or hammers for example. Where, a thief wants to break in quickly to avoid being noticed, glass fitted with our security film will be significantly tougher to break and the thief is likely to move on having already drawn attention and not gained access.

Why is tinting a better alternative to blinds?
Blinds do not reflect heat, they trap the heat between the glass and the blind. Window film due to its construction actively reflects heat. Also, when blinds are open, they neither add privacy or reduce glare from sunlight. Adding window tint does not block your view. Also, the cost of tinting is significantly cheaper than blinds for your whole conservatory.

Does window film prevent fading of my furniture?
Our films will significantly reduce the effects of fading caused by UV rays thereby extending the life of your furniture and its costly replacement.
